I know many of the visitors to these pages might be interested in the preservation of Eagle Field a WWII Air Corp. Training base. If there are to be any organized activities at Eagle Field, how many people care to volunteer, and what skills would ya bring? The projects that will be done is directly related to head count. The more bodies that can be corralled into a task, the greater accomplishment rate we will have of projects; thus helping Eagle Field preserve its heritage; and its future! Don't be shy, there is many things that need maintenance, repair, and some fabrication. All skill sets are encouraged to help. Volunteer at Eagle Field and make a day out of it!
Dates will be posted for some workdays at a later date after Volunteer roster is filled.
Leave your name and skills you have for projects.

Volunteer days will start at the end of February, when it warms up a bit. South room of admin building is the primary structure project, and clean up of the Harpoon is also on the list of things to do. We will give it a good steam cleaning prior to bringing inside where we will start soda blasting inside the fuselage.

Joe tells me that is the ultimate goal...
Current planning is to start cleaning it up and get it back in the hangar. Up on the short list... Re-install the Cockpit Windows & Instrument Panel(s) Prep Engines for run-up Engine Controls Landing Gear & Brakes Re-install Leading Edges
That should keep us busy for awhile ;D

Sounds like the old saying,"The only thing left to do is everything."
Good luck
