Rocky, I was lurking around the ANRA site and found your post for a ANRA/Eagle Field OW Gas Dragster Class.
Is this still an ongoing idea?
I'm still kicking around the thought of building something other than a door slammer and this sounds fun and relatively inexpensive...

Yep, we have 3 C/GD Dragsters now that run Eagle Field. I like the photo you sent me it just need some bars to make it safe.

I really like the looks of that one, but with needing to add bars to it I'm thinking I can fabricate one similar in mild steel for a bit less than the asking price of $2,500 Is that realistic, or should look for a more current chassis? I'd like to be able to run the ANRA tracks as well.

Yep, a newer car (or build) would be recommended for 1/4 mile assaults, the things that add up is Steering Box, Spindles, front Wheels, Rear End and the rest. Joe Delmos has a nice and complete NE3 car for sell on the ANRA Board I believe.
