With the NEW YEAR comes the planning of our Biggest event yet in May. I'm gonna post all the happenings on the event thread but they include a get together Friday nite May 18th, 73 and earlier Flag Start Drags Sat May 19th, and an OPEN to all years Drag Race event and Sunday May 20th. Gonna be quite a show and I'd enjoy seeing what your bringing, if ya have problems with uploading a photo let me know, and if I have a photo already (you'd know), post a note and I'll add it. I'll start off with my TWIN!    |

Yes, I was planning on running it (not too hard though) in the stock class. It still needs a few things to make it track ready, and I should have most of the bodywork done and in primer by then as well. I'm really looking forward to it, the last time I went down a drag strip was @ Fremont in the 80's!!! |

I found a coolant leak between the block & transmission  Must be a rotten freeze plug... Plenty of time to swap it out yet, maybe I'll use it as an excuse to freshen it up with & ring, brg, & valve job... |

Hey Rocky, maybe a dumb question ....what are the rules regarding helmets for the May race? I know I need to wear one but is that it?
